Body All Mind

Two Year Professional Training

500 Hours

Body All Mind is a two year professional training for those who want to teach embodied yoga, facilitate somatic movement, and develop the skills to work safely and effectively with individuals through an integrated, evidence informed approach.

Over two years, you will complete 500 hours of professional training. Upon successful completion, graduates receive a 500 hour professional certification recognised by Yoga Pros UK, Yoga Alliance, and the International Somatic Movement Education and Therapy Association (ISMETA).

The program runs from September to June each year, with a natural pause during July and August for integration, reflection, and practicum work.

Year One

Somatic Yoga and Embodied Practice

Year One meets online every Tuesday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm EST.

Whether you are an experienced yoga teacher or completely new to practice, the first year provides a comprehensive foundation in embodied movement, applied neurology, yoga philosophy, breathwork, and somatic education. You will learn to move beyond teaching shapes and techniques, cultivating the presence, perception, and confidence to guide practices that are responsive, relational, and deeply embodied.

Year Two

Professional Somatic Therapy

Year Two continues with weekly online classes every Tuesday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm EST, together with a 90 minute integration session every second Thursday from 2:00 to 3:30 pm EST.

Building on the foundations of Year One, this year develops the skills required for one to one professional practice through supervised practicums, case discussions, ethics, relational presence, and clinical application. You will refine your ability to assess, adapt, and respond to the unique needs of each individual with clarity, compassion, and integrity.

Students are asked to attend at least 50% of the live sessions. All classes are recorded, allowing the remaining hours to be completed flexibly.

The training concludes with an immersive in person retreat where the work is integrated through intensive practice, assessment, and community.

Graduates leave with internationally recognized professional credentials and the confidence to teach embodied yoga, facilitate somatic movement, and practise as Registered Somatic Movement Therapists and Educators.

WHO’S THIS COURSE FOR?

WHO'S THIS COURSE FOR?

Body All Mind is for yoga teachers, therapists, healthcare professionals, coaches, educators, and anyone who wants to understand how the body shapes perception, behaviour, and resilience.

Rather than working with thoughts alone, you'll learn to work with the whole person. The brain and body are in constant conversation, and much of what we think, feel, and do is shaped by processes outside of conscious awareness.

Through an integrative approach grounded in somatics, neuroscience, and contemplative practice, you'll learn to support regulation, connection, and lasting change by working with the body's innate intelligence.

WHAT IS IT LIKE TO BE A SOMATIC THERAPIST?

Life today offers fewer opportunities for natural co regulation. Much of our time is spent behind screens, in fast paced environments, and within systems that prioritize efficiency, output, and control.

Over time, this can limit how we connect, not only with each other, but with ourselves. The body adapts.

Our nervous system is constantly responding to the conditions we live in. Patterns of tension, withdrawal, or over activation can become familiar ways of being. What begins as adaptation can slowly feel like disconnection.

From the body. From others. From the world around us. Somatics offers a way back. A return to direct experience. To sensing, feeling, and noticing what is here. As we reconnect with the body, our capacity for regulation begins to shift.

And with that, something else becomes possible.Attunement. Connection. A renewed sense of belonging, within ourselves and in relationship with others.

Hi, I’m Angela, founder and lead trainer at Nousoma Life

Since 2000, I’ve been guiding people into a more embodied way of living. Over 26 years of teaching in Canada and around the world, one truth has remained steady: healing unfolds from within.

Wisdom can’t be imposed. Real and lasting change emerges when we learn to meet the body with care, attention, and respect. When we feel seen and heard in a genuine way, something begins to shift. From there, change becomes possible.

Body All Mind is the expression of my life’s work. It reflects a deep commitment to helping people reconnect with meaning, purpose, and a sense of aliveness.

In this program, you’ll learn how to be with your experience in a way that builds capacity. What once felt overwhelming can become workable. Fear can inform, anger can mobilize, grief can soften into love, and worry can settle into a quieter presence.

Energy is malleable. With the right support and understanding, we can return to a more steady, connected way of being.
